Grace Outreach’s new Technology Center and Director

Grace Outreach students have another avenue for advancing their education and career goals– our new Technology Center. The center was completed in June 2015 and offers students the use of 23 computers, 3 printers, 16 laptops, and a projector.

Derrian Robinson, pictured below is the Technology Center’s Director, “we established the center to help students advance technological skills and obtain greater proficiency in Windows operating systems.”

Derrian is teaching a 3-4 month Typing Class in the Technology Center that helps women develop computer keyboarding skills. She’ll also work with GO instructors as they integrate technology into their curriculum.

She’s excited about her new role, “proficiency is imperative to a woman’s success in world that is technologically driven. I take my role as GO’s Technology  Director seriously as this adds greater value to our students ability when they move into the workforce or higher education.”
