Students enrolled in our Spring College Program at Grace Outreach made a campus visit to BMCC this week. Three of our students have listed BMCC as their first choice campus, and the visit only served to reinforce their preference . All of our students enjoyed seeing the campus, including the great views of the Hudson River on a beautiful and warm February day.
Our students were particularly impressed by all of the campus resources offered at BMCC, especially the tutoring resources available in the math tutoring lab, the writing center, and in the library. We observed several tutoring sessions, including students getting comprehensive feedback on writing assignments from writing tutors.
All of our College Program students plan to start college in the fall, and several already have an academic major in mind. The visit was coordinated with the Strive for Success office at BMCC, thank you S4S team!
